In our never-ending mission to increase efficiency and decrease declines, we have launched a new feature that everyone will benefit from.
When creating a new bill in Billing Circle, if the date is in the future, then on the confirmation step you will have a pre-checked box with "Verify Credit Card ($1.00 temporary authorization)". This will put a $1 transaction through your merchant account that will be automatically voided, and rarely even show up on the client's online credit card statement at all. This transaction does not count towards your Billing Circle monthly total transactions.
Note that this does not affect same-day bills, where the first charge will still fully process immediately.
